The plotted bar chart elicits the changes in the modes of transportation used by English in one of the European cities during 1960, 1980 and 2000.
According to the statistical data, in 1960, 35% of the travelers used foot, which is the highest , followed by, 28% and 25% of the European used bikes and buses to travel to finish their works respectively. Very less number of cars were used at that time for travelling purpose.
However, in 1980, most of the people use public transportation that is, 28% where as, car, bike and foot were used by 25%, 23% and 18% of English people respectively.
On the other hand, in 2000, the usage of car was gradually increased to 38%, where as bus, bike and foot was decreased to 18%, 8% and 10% respectively.
In the evident from the figure that, only the usage of car was increased drastically during 1960 to 2000, and the usage of bike and foot were decreased, where as the bus was increased from 1960 to 1980 and then decreased by 2000.
