Write your first letter to the family. In your letter
- introduce yourself
- ask the family some questions to get information that is important to you
- tell the family about your arrival date and time

I had appeared for the IELTS and below is my score
L: 8.5
R: 8.0
W: 6.5
S: 7.0
I need a 7 in each band and am short of 0.5 in Writing Section. I have applied for remarking of Writing Section only. What do you think are the chances of increasing the score?
Also to be on safer side, I have started preparation for a second attempt. Could you please suggest online material or books for IELTS preparation. Where can I get Writing and Speaking topics for practise?

As far as books are concerned, I heartily recommend the Adams and Austen Press books you can see advertised further up on this page.

Dear Sarala,
My name is Ravi Ragan,I am 25 years old and completed my master is general science.I am fun loving,easy going,vegetarian,non-smoking person.I spend most of time in reading book and watch sports and last but not least i am very much interested in cleaning activity
As part of homestay program i will be staying with your family for not less than 7 days.During the stay it possible to accommodate me in a separate room facilitated with attached restroom.As mentioned above i am vegetarian,is it possible to know about your food habits or at least cook only vegetarian food during stay. Last but not least is it possible to know about family and your plans on week of my stay
I will be leaving Chennai on 07/28/12 and reaching Kolkata on 07/29/12 by air,from there i will be traveling by road to your place,tentatively i will be reaching you house on Sunday 07/30/12 around 7 pm in the evening.
