You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

You travelled by long distance bus recently and your suitcase was damaged.

 

Write a letter to the bus company.  In your letter

  • Inform the bus company of when and to where you travelled
  • describe your suitcase and what happened to it
  • explain why the company should pay for a new suitcase

Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

    dear sir or madam,
    my name is al.zahraa a.raziq and i’m writing this letter to you to inform you about your miserable, bad bus servise that caused my suitcase damage.
    i was traveling by one of your copany’s long distance buses from Khartoum to New Halfa, about three or four weeks ago. the bas was in a miserable situation. there was no airconditioning, no servises like food or even water. I had to buy it my self from markets when the bus stops in a petrol station.
    Never the less, the chair i was sitting in was ruined and i couldn’t sleep all the night. the bus driver wa ieersponsible, he was driving carless. he used to gi in a bad path ways.
    but the major reason for writing this letter is my suitcase damage. i layed my suitcasein the rack at the top of my chair. the rack refused to get closed, it was broken. and mybag fell off, it was in peices. and my things spread all over the bus. luckely, one of the passengers had a big plastic case, he gave it to me.
    that bag means alot to me, and i demand a refunding that is not less than 120$ for the suitcase, the stuff were crushed inside that bag and the bad servise.
    I ask you to improve your utilities and make them better so people can feel comfort while using the buses.

    Sir/Madam!

    I traveled in your bus 3 days ago Via Lahore to Islamabad. It was My first Travel Experience with your company. I got the ticket of your Bus after Visiting the Websie of your company.I thought that the Services will be very comfortable and reasonable for me.

    But i m sorry to say that i was unable to get get that i was expecting from your Company.

    I also lost my suitcase which i bought since 5 days ago for this Visit.There were many Important documents in my suitcase and other important things as well.My suitcase damaged judt because of bus condition and Many Jumps in your Bus.

    So I would like to Claim my suitcase from your company or Would like to pick up the new one on the behalf of your company.

    Please follow my claim as soon as Possible.

    My name is Ravi and my ticket#12345 and the bus was bound from Chennai to New Delhi on 11/26/2012.During my travel i checked-in two big suitcases in good condition.Both my suitcases are manufactured by xxxx,they are made of high quality fiber and are durable,they cost are $200 each

    This is to inform you that one of the two check-in suitcase was damaged.There were some minor cracks were found upper part of the suitcase along with few major.Apart form the above mentioned suitcase handle,wheels and look were completed damaged.

    The damaged clearly explicit that they have occurred during my trip to new Delhi due to continues rocking of the bus.Due to above major damages the suitcase can be used further hence i request xxxx corp to completely pay for my damages or provide with a new suitcase.

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction about the sevices of your compony that make me upset and damaged my suit case.
    Last week, I was travelling from Bristo to London through your coach N-5454. It was my first time to utilize your bus services. i was expecting excellent services from your company, but, unfortunately, your company is failed to provide what I was hoing to recive.
    Due to ill prepared services, I found two rough edges on the upper lid of the suit case, and also both locks are damaged. some of my documents and Samsung screen shoot camera inside it are defected.
    What I am hoping from you to pay $250 for buying a new suit case or you can puchase the same brand from lulu Baggage. If youwant, I can present the invoice of my purchase.

    I am writing to you for the complain about irresponsible behaviour of conductor of your bus service.

    I am a salesman and due to the nature of my job, travelling is my need. I was used to be a premium traveller of recently closed company Kamran & Co. I breaked the mold on August, 28th with your Nation-wide bus service. I had travelled in Bus No. JLN2298KL. At the ticket counter, ticketing officer guided me about insurance of fragile items because I was travelling with some of them.

    When I handed over my luggage which consist of two full size suitcases to the bus conductor it was in mint condition, and I instructed the conductor that it contains fragile items, so handle with intensive care and don’t put any weight over them. After that conductor has given me a token which says that “Token for Fragile Item” However, when my journey ended and I had reached my destination, I found that my suitcase has several cracked on several parts of the breifcase. It’s look like that conductor has put on some heavy cartons over them.

    I have taken the insurance at the time of ticket, which clearly states that incase of loss and breakage of customer property due to any problem during the travel, your company will pay the 100% cover. Therefore, now I am writing to you so that you could provide me the insurance cover of my Briefcase and the fragile items which was in it.

    I am writing this letter to inform you about damaged of my suitcase during my travel using your company bus service.
    I have travelled on 16th October 2012 from Dubai to Muscat at 2.00pm bus service which is 06 hours journey. Unfortunately i was not able to find proper rack where I can store my suitcase safely and I kept it under my seat. Since there are lot of roundabout on the way and due to high speed driving suit case has crashed with the frame of the seat and found badly damaged.
    Case of this damage is since your company has not provided proper store facility for passengers. Hence I kindly requested you to pay the cost of my suitcase USD 200 at the earliest.

    My name is Naveed Alam Shaikh and I traveled from Karachi to Lahore at friday, 13th of November 2012 at your air conditioned bus and my ticket ID was 0149.

    I am writing to complain about the poor services of your bus, and now I think that it was the bad decision of mine to traveled in your bus, it looks like a very luxury but inside the bus I noticed they were not provide the service as I hope, but the major reason to complaint you that there were two bags which was gifted me from my elder brother, they were very costly and were very important for me.

    I am really did not think that when I reached at my destination I was very shocked to see my both of bags there were some scratch on that and one was fully damaged, the driver/donductor was really careless about the goods of pessenger’s and he did not keep these bags in safe place, I feel angry myself and decide to complaint you about that matter, so now i would like to inform you please provide me new bags or otherwise pay for it..

  11. Dear Sir/Madam,

    I regret to inform that I am not all satisfied with your service. A couple of day ago when I treated your bus service to get from Madrid to Valencia my bag was damaged.

    I used the bus number MV001 departed from Madrid at 6 pm on August 28. In the beginning of the trip the bus-driver took my bag and put to a special luggage space. There was a travelling green-colored new Wenger collection photo-bag with a pocket for the laptop. I suspect that my suitcase was blocked between two heavy bags, crushed and, obviously, deformed. My staff was not broken but the orthopedic back was damaged and now it is inconvenient to carry the bag.

    Obviously, your company employee was blame for the incident, and therefore, I suppose it will be fair if you provide me with a new bag. The price for it was $200. I saved the check and I can send you a scan via email if it is necessary. If my demands are not met I will be forced to seek legal advice. Hope to hear from you soon.
