Students are often quite daunted by the IELTS Writing Test. In this post, I’d like to give you a basic plan to follow when tackling an IELTS Writing Academic Task 1.

I thought you might like to see a practice IELTS Writing Task 1 I recently corrected from one of the readers of this site wishing to sit the Academic IELTS test. The approximate IELTS band score was band score 6.5. See what I think it needs to take it up to band score 7.
